BROADEN YOUR HORIZONS:
You will meet like minded men from all walks of life, and meet as equals whatever their race, religion, social or economic position in society. Our values are based on integrity, kindness, honesty, fairness and tolerance.

NEW FRIENDSHIPS:
You will make long lasting friendships, achieve your potential, and above all have fun doing it. Masonry provides a forum for people to meet in an open environment, helping to build trust and a better community for you, your family and society in general.

CHARITY:
Freemasons make a major financial contribution to society through their own charities, as well as through donations to non-masonic UK charities and world wide disaster relief funds, with members playing an active role in raising money for their own communities. Bovey Tracey lodge regularly make donations to local charities, including the swimming pool trust, the youth cricket team, the youth café, and many more.

BECOME A BETTER YOU:
Freemasons embrace all the fundamentals principles of good citizenship. Many of these are learnt through traditional rituals that take the form of one act plays, leading to increased self-esteem and confidence.

SELF DISCOVERY:
Every Freemason embarks on his own journey of self discovery when he becomes a member of the fraternity. With three levels of Freemasonry, the progression through to senior roles within the lodge can be seen in much the same way as a person progressing in his own career, each promotion bringing greater understanding and responsibility.

HARMONY:
Freemasonry prides itself on its transparency. There are no closed doors in Freemasonry, anyone can visit Grand Lodge in London, and for everyone lodges offer a place of harmony and tranquillity. The sentence that rings loud whenever Freemasonry is discussed is the same today as it has always been.
