LOCAL FREEMASONS SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES
James Hodge-Brooks, the then Master of Bovey Tracey Freemasons, presented £500 to the local Youth Café in the presence of several enthusiastic youngsters and supporting adults from the organization.

Over 12 months in 2024, this small Lodge has contributed a total of £1,250 to local charities including Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool (BTSPA) and Moorland Community Care.
Bovey Lodge also applied successfully to a Devon central masonic fund receiving £1,250 additional support to help the swimming pool to survive a year of significantly increased utility costs which solar panels will help to reduce in future.

The Chief Executive of Devonshire Masons is seen presenting the cheque to Martin Brealey, Chair of BTSPA with Paul McCormick, Charity Steward of the Lodge at the half yearly distribution of £25,000 to 19 charities.
In addition, Ashburton Freemasons donated £1,000 to Moorland Community Care, while Ashburton Mark Masons donated £200 to BTSPA.
Important features of these charities are the number of volunteers who support them with their work benefitting many of all ages in the community.
